01. THE CONSULTATION

This is where we meetup. Consultations are scheduled in person or via zoom. It is a perfect time for you tell me a little bit about yourselves & what your vision is for your family photoshoot. We go over how my business works and plan out the perfect styling, location, and date to bring your vision to life! Post consultation, I send out everything necessary to reserve your date via email. Reservation is super easy and can all be done online.

.02 THE PREP

Once your date is reserved, I am available to help with any other questions you may have regarding prop & outfit consultation. The way you arrive to your session is a key part of personalizing a beautifully manicured family photoshoot that perfectly represents this season in your family's life. If not already paid, sometime during this phase your Creative Fee will be due.

.03 THE PHOTOSHOOT

It's time! Depending on the package you booked, you can expect up to 20/60 minutes of cuddles, playtime, and meaningful connection with your loved ones. I will prompt both playful and meaningful interactions that also display your genuine relationship in a beautiful light.

.04 THE outcome

When the hand-edited images from your family photoshoot are ready, I will reach out so we can discuss a good day to post your private gallery website. Once posted, you will have 3 days to review & choose the images you would like to purchase.

I know every mama has worried about preserving those special moments and pondered at how fast their baby has grown up already. That is 100% within reason. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old (pictured here:)). I think back often about when I was just meeting my toddler for the first time & am astonished at how quickly they can learn, grow, & change.

He's the main reason I decided to specialize in family and maternity photography. I love preserving those fleeting moments for other families who also recognize that time moves too fast and want to freeze those memories before they blur with time.

FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

Each package includes a set amount of images to choose from. However, I often get caught up in the beauty of client galleries and almost always provide extras. For more info on the photography packages available click see my Investment page

When’s the best time to have a session?

My favorite time to have a family photoshoot is Golden Hour. Golden Hour is the first hour after sunrise and the last hour before sunset. As a toddler mom, I usually sleep through sunrises, so I mostly do sunset sessions. The light is soft, golden and glowy, so we get beautiful sunflares that add warmth and magic to your images.

How should we dress for our family session?

I love to see clients dressed a cohesive way that accurately reflects your specific family and will look beautiful displayed in your home. For this reason, my suggestions for every family will be different. Please communicate with me directly and I would love to provide guidance on what to wear for your family photoshoot.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

Of course! You are not alone. Part of my job is to make you feel comfortable during your family photoshoot. I will guide you on what will produce the best images. Everyone, including myself, has insecurities. All I ask for is that you communicate those to me so we can using posing techniques to assist. Most importantly, pour into your family during the shoot -- that is what will really shine through the lens.
